MICHELLE AND MATTHEW E-SESSION: Part One

Last week, I had the pleasure of shooting Matt and Michelle’s engagement session.  Matt is such a romantic; he proposed to Michelle in Paris while having a picnic with her and of course she said “Yes!”  These two were a joy to work with!   We chose to take the photos at two different locations for some variety and it turned out great!  Here are a few of my favorites from our time spent at Orange County Nature Center in Anaheim Hills, CA.  Michelle was such a trooper considering the hike and all the bugs that were there.  I had a lot of fun because there was so much to capture!  I hope you enjoy them and stay tuned for pictures taken at Crystal Cove in Newport Beach, CA.

NORMA & TOM: MARRIED

 It is always so special to photograph weddings and even more special when it’s a wedding of a close friend or family.  I’ve known Tom for many, many years and to capture the moments of Tom and Norma’s big day was something I had been looking forward to!  Although my friendship with Norma was fresh, I felt like she was such a great match for Tom!  Here are some photos that I took on this day of love and joyful celebration.  All the best to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Vota!!!

As we all know, invitations are a big part of the wedding planning process.  After all, this is the announcement of your wedding day and it sets things up for the big day.  Many custom made invitations can get expensive so one way that a budget savvy bride may save is with DIY invitations like the ones showcased by Darla Marie Designs at her trunk show at The Wedding Pantry in Tustin, CA.   Here are some photos so you have an idea of what her line of invitations are like.

FUN IN THE SUN: WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL PICNIC

Yesterday was a fun day!  I was invited to do a photobooth shoot at Rancho Tapo Community Park in Simi Valley for the kids at Weekday Preschool.  This is an annual event held for the students at the end of the school year; there were so many fun activities and lots of food for students and their parents.  It was nice to be able to capture this day for the parents although a few of the kids were quite camera-shy.  But in the end, all the kids ended the day with a splash!
